All of our professors in Humanities and Social Sciences in the graduate sphere are teaching with PhDs in their field, are heavily published, have done a great deal of research in their areas, and are dedicated to the improvement of students in the graduate area.
I'm excited to be a part of the School of Conflict Management, Peacebuilding and Development because I have experience in international humanitarian work, and I'm here now working with eager young people. And I can help those young people and those faculty members to channel their energies on things that are going to matter to people who have been displaced or traumatized by conflict.
I think the thing that makes Kennesaw State unique and is one of the primary reasons students would want to come here for a graduate program is the accessibility of the faculty. The thing that makes graduate education unique and different and exciting is they really get to know their faculty members very well.
These faculty have great connections in the community. They have great connections across different universities for people that want to go on, maybe get a PhD or further graduate study. And we actually really want the students to engage with us.
