The College of Engineering at Kennesaw, state is a large college, has over 5000 undergraduate students and a growing graduate program, and we take a lot of pride in the hands on experiences our students have access to can do research in cutting edge labs and battery technology autonomous vehicles, as well as internships at local companies, including Intel Georgia, power AT and T and get experience on what industry is doing in these areas. Most of our students will have some kind of a project that they'll work on. They'll get involved in a lab with a faculty member, or doing research or doing something creative, something innovative, something new. So for example, in my lab, we are in an aerospace lab right now, there is sponsored projects that students get to work on. Students get involved from design part of it, from the analysis part of it, to fabrication, which we also do here in this lab, and then to the flight and operation and then delivery of the product, right so the entire life cycle is something that students get to experience which is unique. And our industry partners tell us that our students are preferred over just about any other institution in the area because of that skill set they have the hands on problem solving mindset. One of the most rewarding parts of this program is just being able to work in this lab, build and learn about the things that I have between this research group and the rocketry club, I have had opportunity to collaborate with other students, talking to potential employers. They want to know, can you work well with others? And not only does this give me an opportunity to do that, but you know, it's something that I can show and say, Look, I did this with a with a team of other engineers, and that's been very rewarding.
